Ann Coulter's Foot, Meet Ann Coulter's Mouth...Oh, You've Already Been Introduced?
2005.06.10 (Fri) 16:25

Ed of Dispatches from the Culture Wars has a quick post up in reaction to an Ann Coulter piece, in which — referring to Mark "Deep Throat" Felt's daughter, a single mom who is "not ashamed of this" — Ann says:

She ought to be. See, the idea of marriage is to get a man other than your own father to support you while you raise children.

Jesus H. Christ in a taxi-cab! Crap like this calls our attention to the amazing collection of bullshit in the heads of women like Ann Coulter.

The women of the religious right, if they truly subscribe to the beliefs they espouse, are of the opinion that all women should be subservient and obedient to their fathers (before they're married) or their husbands (only once they're permanently and irrevocably married). By extension, these women shouldn't be doing anything other than caring for children and the housework, and should keep their noses out of big important things like business and politics.

Hey, Ann — not that we personally agree with this garbage, but if that's what you're getting at, why don't you shut the hell up, get back in the kitchen, and squeeze out some babies? At least then something good would come out of your diatribes: we'd never have to hear from you again.

And, side note: what the hell is this next sentence about?

(Guess what she does? That's right! She's a teacher!)

Is Ann trying to imply that there are negative connotations to being a teacher, one of the most admirable, noble, and underpaid professions in the Western world? Some of us have been teachers, many of our friends and relatives are teachers, and they're brilliant and good people. If the government would acknowledge the tremendous service teachers can perform for our society and pay them what they're worth, then the profession would attract more and more qualified people like the ones we know, and Ann's statement would be meaningless and spiteful — instead of just spiteful. In the words of the imminently mortal Dick Cheney: go fuck yourself, Ann.

Sometimes we really wonder how much of the sewage spewing from Ann Coulter's mouth (or pen) is what she actually believes, and how much she's just putting out there to live up to the outrageously stupid expectations of the far right fanatics.

"Ajai Raj Was Right" from Spin Dry

I'm with The 2% folk on the teacher thing, though -- if things were right with the world, teachers would be getting multimillion dollar contracts, and pro athletes would work for minimum wage, with no benefits... and women like Coulter would take the... [More]

It is of _utmost_ importance, that whenever Ann Coulter open her mouth, whatever liberal men are about immediately drop their pants and stuff her face with cock. Do it for the children guys. Take one for the team.

el_chronic,

Fuck! There goes our PG-13 rating. And we tried so fucking hard not to be offensive, too! Oh, well. Fuck it.

As far as your suggestion, it's a bold plan. Our male members (no pun intended) would be willing to try it out, but they're worried that they might lose something. Ouch.

Actually, I have it on good authority that she will not mind, as seen in:
